Experimental results
For all the results presented, these notations are used:
- Cor: Correct matches - A match is correct if the disparity error is < 1.
- Acc: Accepted matches - A match is accepted if the disparity error is > 1 and <2.
- Bad: Bad matches - A match is bad if the disparity error is < 3.
- Err: Erroneous matches - A match is erroneous if the disparity error is > 3.
- FPo, FNe: False positive, false negative - The method estimates that the pixel is matched whereas it is not matched (false positive) and vice versa (false negative).
- (W)OA: (Whole) Occlusion Area - Percentage of correct matches in (W)OA.
- OIA: Occlusion Influence Area - Percentage of correct matches in OA.
- DA: Discontinuity Area - Percentage of correct matches in DA.
