Estimation robuste et applications au traitement d'images
Abstract
Robust estimation is a generic tool for image analysis. In
fact, many vision problems can be seen as parameter estimation
problems where the observation noise is far from being Gaussian.
In this paper, we present an approach based on the Maximum
Likelihood principle and robust statistics for analyzing images in
two applications: curves fitting and image smoothing.
